This page lists events related to any of the fiber arts that you might be interested in attending. Contact Carolyn if you know of an event that would be of interest to our members. Now, remember, we're not endorsing any of these festivals or events. We just want you to know they're out there. Whether or not you have a good time if you go will be up to you!

Workshops/Classes:

Very little is going on in these months. If you know of something, let webmistress know and she'll post it.
Ongoing:

Sit & Knit - Every Monday afternoon from 3:30 until 5, stop in for a Sit & Knit at the Webster Public Library, 980 Ridge Rd (in the Webster Plaza). Most people bring knitting, some bring spinning. Bring whatever you like.

Sit & Knit -
The Village Yarn & Fiber Shop, located at 350 Commercial Street in East Rochester, and owned by guild members Karen Petito & Sarah Reilly, has a sit & knit every Thursday night from 7pm- 9pm. Most people come to knit, but you are free to bring any kind of work, or your spinning wheel, if you like.

Sit & Knit - The Yarn Boutique also has a sit & knit every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7pm-9pm. The store is located at 1155 Monroe Avenue in the Brighton Commons. All are welcome.
Monthly:

Guild Meeting- The Lake Country Spinning & Fiber Artisans Guild meets on the second Saturday of each month at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 320 S Pearl St, Canandaigua. All are welcome.

Guild Meeting- Common Threads Guild, a newly formed guild for spinners and dyers in the Buffalo area, will meet on the third Sunday of each month from 2-5 pm at the Hull House Family Home and Farmstead located at 5976 Genessee Road, Lancaster, NY 14086. All are welcome.
