Free Demonstrations - If you think you have some interesting facet of fiber arts to demonstrate and you'd like to put on a demo in 2008 for our fairgoers, please contact the committee. We're always open to new ideas for demonstrations, and we'd be happy to have you. Kathy Jarvis is in charge of demonstrations, you can send her an email with your demo idea and she'll email back to you.
Workshops & Classes - The proposal letter for next year's workshops will be mailed to the 2007 teachers soon. The deadline to submit proposals will be the usual- sometime in late January. If you have not taught before at our festival but have something to teach that we do not already offer, contact Kris Shanahan for a proposal form. Of course, all classes must be fiber related.
Farmer's market - New for 2008! We are planning to add a small Farmer's Market to the festival next year. If you or someone you know is a local farmer with products such as apples, gourds, cheeses, honey, garlic, mums, pumpkins, and the like, contact Linda Geiger for details.
Festival committee meetings - The committee had meetings in October and November to begin planning for next year. Make sure to stop in periodically for updates on our plans for the 2008 festival.
