Fest 2013! Big, big News! Stephanie Pearl-McPhee (aka The Yarn Harlot) will be teaching 2 workshops on Saturday and giving a lecture/booksigning on Sunday. We will register people for her workshops using a lottery system (details will be posted).
We are well along planning the 2013 Finger Lakes Fiber Festival. Anyone who would like to join the fest committee, please contact Kathy or Liz. Meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month at the Henrietta Public Library. Got ideas, suggestions or something you'd like to see, please let us know!
It's not too early to think about the Skein & Garment Competition. Marcia W. has been busy getting organized, so the forms are available for you to download.
Ravelry Meet-Up - The Ravelry meet-up in 2012 was quite the success. If someone would like to step up and coordinate the group, please contact us.
Guild Display for 2013 - This year's guild display will be our Bag It! exchange. Members traded bags of fiber in November 2012 to create containers...I know I am looking forward to seeing what this creative bunch has come up with!
Used Equipment Sale - The very popular used equipment sale will be held again this year.
World Wide Spin-In-Public Day-World Wide Spin-In-Public Day very nicely coincides with our Fiber Festival. There will be places to gather and spin, so plan some relaxation time with your shopping and visiting!
Workshops 2013 - Workshops are an important part of our festival. This year's lineup is particularly good and information on them and how to register will be posted shortly.
Demonstrations 2013 - Demonstrators are being lined up and we'll let you who/where/when they will be.
GPS coordinates! We know many of you come from a distance, even from out of state, so the GPS coordinates are listed in the Directions to the Fairgrounds link for those who would like to use them.
***For safety and health reasons, NO PETS are allowed on the festival grounds.***
