Skein & Garment Competition

Diane Seely is in charge of our Skein & Garment Competition; contact her if you have questions regarding the competition. The judges for this year are: Karen Miskell for the skeins, and Jeannine Simmons for finished items.
Besides the ribbons in every category, there is quite a bit of award money available to be won. Show off your skill and pick up some prize money at the same time (to buy more fiber, of course!).
If you are a new spinner (less than one year), enter in our Novice Spinner category. You'll be judged as a novice for this first time - you won't be competing against spinners who have been spinning for years. It's the perfect way to get your feet wet in the world of competitions and you'll get some useful feedback from the judges on your skeins. And note- there are three special awards specifically for novice spinners.
And, of course, we've got our Junior Spinner category. If you're under 18, this is your category, and we hope you'll all want to enter a skein, or two, or three...
